Jin Shin Jyutsu

Jin Shin Jyutsu, Tibetan Medicine, Tibetan Massage

Jin Shin Jyutsu is a gentle energy work which harmonizes the body.

The fascination lies in its simplicity and the possibility to exercise this art anytime, anywhere on oneself or others.

Jin Shin Jyutsu was rediscovered in the beginning of 1900 by a Japanese named Jiro Murai. This art found its way to the USA through his student, Mary Burmeister, and from there it spread all over the world.

Jin Shin Jyutsu literally translated is: Jyutsu - Art, Shin - Creator, Jin - Man of Knowing and Compassion

"Art of the Creator through man of knowing and compassion”.

On each side of the body lay 26 points so-called energy safety locks. If one of these locks is blocked tension can arise and this can cause various disorders.

By placing the hands, according to specific sequences, these safety locks are harmonized to allow that the energy can flow again freely on its energy paths.

Jin Shin Jyutsu works holistic and can be used for a multitude of physical and mental disorders. Jin Shin Jyutsu isn’t directed to specific diseases and has a positive effect on the physical energy system and leads to inner harmony.

The hands-on session is done on a therapy bed over clothing. It isn’t a massage; the fingers are gently placed without any pressure on the energy locks. By listening to the pulses, it is clarified what the body needs at the moment. During and after a hands-on session you feel calm and relaxed. Jin Shin Jyutsu can be seen as a natural complement.
